Medium: Sidewalk Chalk
Objective:
Students will create their own temporary street art piece using sidewalk chalk that includes hidden messages or symbols, inspired by Banksy and other street artists.
Student Instructions:

Choose a Theme:
Think about a social issue or personal theme that matters to you. This could include:-
Climate change

Mental health

Identity

Freedom of speech

Personal struggles or hopes

Plan Your Art:
Sketch a rough idea on paper (optional) before drawing with chalk.
Consider how you can express your message using symbols or visual metaphors, just like Banksy does.Examples of Hidden Symbolism:
